Public Speaking

Brian Callanan is the founder of the Cystic Fibrosis Lifestyle Foundation (CFLF) and an adult living with cystic fibrosis (CF) since diagnosis at birth in 1976.

Born with a prognosis of living only 10-years, hear Brian's journey in making the most of every day and living life to its fullest. Through his adventures sailing, cycling, swimming and snowboarding, he shares his stories of living beyond the perceived limits and boundaries of CF. His perspectives on the transformations of treatments and living successfully are illustrated through learning a positive and empowered mindset and navigating challenges with control.

Brian's commitment to surviving CF over a bowl of Lucky Charms at age 13 has led to his thriving with CF, maintaining FEV-1 lung function above the 90th percentile.
